Tuesday 23rd December
Arrive in time for afternoon tea with sandwiches, cakes and a chocolate fountain, with a puppet show for the children. Before dinner, join your hosts and fellow guests for drinks and canapés during which you can have your ‘special picture’ done by our caricaturist. Our table magician and Ventriloquist will entertain you during your four course dinner with wine, then cheer on your favourite horse during our ‘Race Night’.

Christmas Eve
Forestdale Best Breakfast, followed by a relaxing morning enjoying tea, coffee and mince pies in the lounge. A three course lunch will be served in the Lulworth Restaurant. Afternoon tea with cookies and muffins will be served in the lounge, with a clown show for the children. The caricaturist will be in the lounge before dinner if you missed the chance last night. Enjoy a four course dinner with wine, followed by a Comedy Magic Show and then have a go at Line Dancing.

Christmas Day
Start the day with a Bucks Fizz buffet breakfast with chocolate treats for everyone. Santa Claus will visit whilst everyone enjoys tea, coffee and Danish pastries. A traditional Christmas lunch with wine will be served, then there will be a chance to enjoy the Queen’s speech with a cup of tea and slice of Christmas cake. Meet our Chefs as they serve you the Gala Buffet, which includes wine. After dinner there is a fun general knowledge quiz and disco plus our games room and skittle alley.

Boxing Day
After your breakfast, perhaps take a walk along the seafront or just relax in the comfortable lounge. A light finger buffet with mulled wine will be served before the coach departs for the Pavillion Theatre to see the Pantomime. Tea, coffee, mince pies and Christmas cake will be served on your return. It’s 70’s Night tonight, so get out your flares and platform shoes and enjoy a four course dinner with wine and entertainment provided by an Abba tribute band and disco, fancy dress is optional.

Saturday 27th December
Fill yourselves up with a Forestdale Best Breakfast and then it’s time to set off home – or why not stay with us for the St Nicholas Break?

Wessex Hotel has 14 single rooms for which there is no extra charge. There is a supplement of £50 per room, per night, for a twin or double room for single occupancy.
